This page showcases our first run of the Monster Exchange Project. The project was conducted in May/June '95 between Brian Maguire's 4th grade class at Heritage Heights Elementary School in Amherst, NY and Sherry Devlin's 5th grade class at Brunner Elementary (Scotch Plains, NJ). Sally Swetits of the Brunner Media Center provided computer (word processing) and Internet (Email) support for the project. John R. Thompson, a Ph.D. molecular biologist, father of two Brunner children and a member of The Friends of the Brunner Library (a parent volunteer group) also helped organize the project. John serves as an Educational Computer Consultant to Brunner Elementary and the Scotch Plains/ Fanwood School District.
